Andalé Racing Club

Description: NEXT RACE – SATURDAY, APRIL 8TH

The Andalé Racing Club is proud to announce the creation of a year long 5K and 1 Mile Racing Series to be run on the second Saturday, of every month in 2023, at Michael Gunn Park at Platte Meadows in Platte County, Missouri.

This will be a single race, seasonal (3 races), or annual (12 races) competitive format for you to choose to race in. We will have leaderboards and competitions for all sorts of groups. Men, women, youth, special, and possibly canine. There will be ranking and standings for individual races, seasonal, and annual competitions with cash prizes for the top finisher in each category. More to come on the format and point system for leaderboards and rankings.

Ways You Can Compete:

Individual Races – Pick a race, enter, and run in it.

Season Series – Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall – Each season series will be three races.
Winter – January, February , March – Completed
Spring – April, May, June – Current Series
Summer – July, August, September
Fall – October, November, December

Annual Series – Run all twelve monthly races

T-Shirt:

You will receive the shirt of the seasonal series you are in and an Andale Club T-Shirt. Race in April and you get the Spring Series Shirt. Race in August and you get the Summer Series.

Course:

Most likely, I will post something here the week of the race.

Course Map:

100% Trail. The 5K and Mile courses change for every single race. This is probably my favorite part. Water crossings, brush hogged trail with lots of pokey things sticking out of the ground. Uneven surfaces, questionable footing, it’s fantastic.

Packet Pickup: WORKING ON A DAY BEFORE LOCATION

Refund Policy:

There is none. Instead, I ask that you work with me to move you to another race. If the weather is too treacherous, then I will postpone the race and move to another day.

Photos:

I have a high school volunteer who takes photos and we post them direct on here on the website.

Parking: Park at the Trailhead off Northwood Rd – Gravel Parking Lot

You do NOT have to park at Walden Middle School for this race. Park at the trailhead off NW Northwood Rd. The Start/Finish Line, Staging Area, and Bathrooms will be at the trailhead.
